Urban Impact Community Fund is excited to announce that Geoffrey Canada, nationally recognized urban educator, will be bringing his message of educational reform to York on April, 2, 2011.  Mr. Canada has radically changed the lives of children and families in Harlem, New York by providing a plethora of supportive services intertwined with an exceptional education system for children from pre-birth through to college.  Urban Impact Community Fund’s aspiration is to replicate the Harlem Children’s Zone in York by linking services and providing innovative educational solutions that will allow our children to have the opportunity to become successful, self-sustaining adults.
